I was commissioned by Griffith University and BCM Group to create the hero artwork for their 2025 Creative Arts Open Day campaign. The brief was completely open, but I was encouraged to include the creative disciplines at Griffith such as music, design, film, and visual art.
The final artwork was built using layered paper, and designed to work across both static and animated formats. I developed a vibrant, character-driven scene that celebrates the moment when creative minds come together - each character representing a different field, brought to life through composition, movement, and colour.
The illustration has been adapted across a wide range of campaign assets, including bus shelter takeovers across Brisbane, social media content, OOH, and digital advertising. I also created a narrated short behind-the-scenes process video to accompany the launch, as well as an animation of the scene.
