My debut picture book!
Meet Nina, a little girl going through the trials and tribulations of growing a little plant 💗🌱. Even though she tries her very best to nuture her seedling, things don't turn out the way she'd hoped. So, Nina takes the time she needs, and slowly works up the courage to try again.
This tender, hopeful story for young families about pregnancy, loss, and long awaited rainbow babies was written so beautifully by Bec Nanayakkara. She has woven these two narratives together perfectly.
About Sarah
Sarah Capon is a Brisbane-based illustrator who specialises in creating intricate layered paper illustrations. Using pieces of paper cut perfectly into shape and layering them together, Sarah is able to capture lively personality within her work. With the aim of bringing joy to the viewer, she focuses on vibrant and idyllic scenes usually involving landscapes, people, and/or animals.
In-Person Events
